About Us

This website is a work in progress and aims to reppresent the Bio-Technology investigation sector of IT Pro Services, a general IT service company based in Switzerland.

Matteo Ferrini, serial entrepreneur in the technology sector has decided to promote the investigation into various aspects of well-being with a particolar eye to Photobiomodulation Technology and Nootropics.

We don't offer personal opinions about this technology but try to bring toghether various studies and index for easy research.

Where does the name
850 Bio Tech come from?

The range of frequency used in typical red light therapy devices is from 650 nm (a deep red, penetrates the skin and acts on mitochondria) to 850 nm (near-infrared, penetrates deeper into tissue).

The potential applications of PBMT are numerous and are being explored experimentally at the basic science, pre-clinical and clinical level. The current clinical uses are for the relief of pain and inflammation and the treatment of sports injuries. PBMT devices have been approved by the FDA to stimulate hair growth and decrease fat deposits.
